Just like Rick Nelson's "Garden Party" song says "You can't please everyone, so ya' got to please yourself." ;-) Now, sing with me everyone! (ha, I'll bet no one knows what song I'm talking about... that's what I get for growing up with a jukebox in the house)

Thanks David, that makes sense to me. I know its impossible to try and please everyone as you say. And if it doesn't appeal to me, I can't expect it to appeal to anyone else. Thanks again!

Tom, my feeling is to do what drives you. You never know what will appeal to everyone, and trust me, you can NEVER achieve that (appealing to all), but you can certainly know what appeals to you, and that's exactly what we readers are wanting... you and your vision! ;-) So keep up the good work, buddy.

Yep, that is one thing I have been thinking about. I've considered going to 3x a week which would help, but I don't think I can swing it - it would be really tenuous, and I don't want to blow deadlines. Anyway, thanks for reading! :)

I'm still reading at least. Though, with story related stuff, I'd prefer a more frequent update schedule. A gag strip is fine being a half-week apart from updates but stories are murdered on such schedules.

So, if you're reading the strip. What do you think of the more story-oriented strips lately? The comments have dropped off and I'm wondering if people preferred the more gag related stuff. It doesn't appear that numbers have dropped off yet I don't think.

I any event, I have to write what drives me to create the strip, and I'm having more fun, and I think doing a better strip with more story oriented stuff. Not getting rid of humor entirely - rather having more story.

It's a line I've been stepping back and forth over the whole time. I think I'm rambling now...
