OK, this started off badly. I don't care for a strip that starts off by saying, "Hi, this is a new comic, this is our first strip," and then has the second strip apoligizing for the first strip. It's the comic equivalent of start off a novel with ...

Hello, everyone! I just added a couple of buttons at the bottom of the page ... now you can help promote the comic on Digg, Reddit, and Yahoo Buzz. I'm trying to add more buttons (such as StumbleUpon, del.icio.us, and so on), but the code isn't al...

I'm a N.E.W.W. man!

Hey, I'm at New England Webcomics Weekend! Got a ride with Tom and Dan from Ann Arbor ... snuck through Ontario, snoozed across upstate New York, we are here!

Went on the pub crawl last night ... met Sam Logan and Jeph Jacques, who were not locked in mortal combat (I was highly disappointed, to say the least). Also met Randy Milholland (very friendly, enjoyed talking with him) and Rene Engstrom (very sweet). Today the actual event begins; should be a good time!

Anyone going to New England Webcomics Weekend?

Is there anyone in or near Michigan who is thinking about going to the New England Webcomics Weekend? I would love to attend, but for a few little problems.

I have to work Friday, so I'd only be able to attend Saturday and part of Sunday. The airfare is out of my price range, but the alternative is a 10-hour drive each way.

Would anyone be interested in sharing a ride? I work in the Detroit area, so I'd prefer to travel with someone in southeast M… Continue

Infinite Canvas

For the latest "Everyday Heroes" episode, I figured that the situation needed an extended layout ... what some web artists refer to as "infinite canvas". It seemed appropriate, since it's a long way down to ... well, check out the page and let me know what you think.

As you might guess, this is a major turning point in the EH story. Comments, good or bad, are always welcome.

Everyday Heroes Episode #100

Yes, Mr. Mighty & Co. have been in action for 100 episodes! (And that's not counting fillers or the bios that were later moved to the cast page.) If you haven't read EH, now is the perfect time to get caught up, because a major turning point is coming in the next few episodes.

Comments and feedback are always appreciated as well.

Lovecraft Is Missing

So I was reading Randy Milholland's "Something Positive", and his blog included a link to a fairly new webcomic called "Lovecraft Is Missing". As you might suspect from the title, H.P. Lovecraft is one of the characters; there are plenty of others, and a lot of plot threads ... it will be interesting to see how they all weave together.

Excellent color artwork throughout, interesting characters, and good… Continue

Yes he did. Ususally I sketch it out and he inks it. But due to a demanding baby along with the new Good Times website, he just drew it all. Is it that obvious?

Hey Ed! Well, my 1977 was kinda like that and I still grew up to be a video geek who's into building models, rockets and NASCAR. Not the life I was once led for sure. Thanks for the welcome!

Sorry you didn't like today's Good Times, I'm not changing the whole strip to be about video games...it's just the current storyline is all...
