Welcome to Webcomics Inc! I'll stop by and check out The Hub. It sounds interesting. And don't worry about throwing words out into the void of the internet - I do it all the time.

The good news? It's over. And to mark the occasion, I went ahead and posted the new strip instead of waiting until Saturday. Make sure you swing by and check it out.

Tenth Strip!

Woot! Ten strips!

It may not seem like such a great milestone, but I'm honestly kind of proud of having ten strips (the tenth one should go up in an hour or two) without missing a week. Still plugging away, still going strong, still being weird. And for those of you who may have found Mortality Month a bit of a depressing idea, the first strip in April is the first strip moving forward out of that particular theme. Coming Soon!

In honor of March being the month in which I was born, I have declared the theme for Frighteningly Pretentious Komix. So, tune in this March for "Mortality Month!"

I know, I know. I'm sick.

I'm watching my numbers, and finding it cool that so many people are just kind of stumbling onto the comic considering beyond Webcomics Inc and my Facebook/MySpace profiles, I haven't advertised yet. I don't really feel comfortable advertising without a real backlog in the archives yet, so I've set my sight… Continue

Still slugging

Edited to Note: So, I'm double-posting now. For the moment, the strip is still updating on DrunkDuck, but it's also on WebComicsNation now. You can see it at http://www.webcomicsnation.com/doctorhu/pretentious/, along with notes on every strip. I have to say, I'm digging the Nation's system so far. Plus, I get much more of a kick than I probably should out of being on the same server as comics by Shaenon Garrity.… Continue

A humble effort

I've decided at long last to give a webcomic of my own a real go.

I tried a couple of times before, first on my own with "404: The Comic Strip" - which taught me that any kind of drawing that approached real quality took way too long for me to be able to update regularly.

Second, I tried with "Odd Creations," using the Bitstrips application to create my strips. I like it, and still update occasionally, but the novelty wore off after a while and I realized the EULA on Bitstrips meant I couldn't… Continue
