Well, my series BEGINS with slice of life overtones. It changes down the road - that's the plan, anyway.

In answer to "sacrificing the gag for the plot." I've written an entire issue -- Desert Peach #3, "A Day at the Beach" to get to a stupid joke at the end. A reader made me happy when he said he threw the book across the room. Everybody keeps talking…

There’s a real gritty urban feel evoked by your linework and backgrounds; something I’ve never been able to figure out how to get in my own work. I’ll be interested in seeing what develops.
