Happy X-holiday everyone!
No more Webcomics Critique 'til the new year, but you can still vote for your favourite webcomic of 2009 in the

Five of the best webcomics I've reviewed from 2009 have been shoved into a poll for you (yes, you!) to vote your little eyes out on.
Our five finalists are 'Raine Dog' by Dana Claire Simpson; 'Tails' by Ethan Young; 'Pajama Forest' by Evan Diaz; 'World Of Hurt' by Jay Potts; and finally 'Edmund Finney’s Quest to Find the Meaning of Life' by D. Long.
Read 'em, vote for 'em! It's THAT simple. The winner gets a recognition. And you get a nice new comic to read. Everybody wins! (Except the losers)…

This week's
Friday Feature takes a look at Asylum Squad by
Sarafin, which has lately re-capped all of the character stories and is now less wordy but no less funny. It's a good thing.
Narrative fans will love it. Guaranteed. Take a peek via yonder linky:…

Hey there cats and kittens,
This week's Tuesday Choice is a little strip called Circuit by Unbalanced Humors' Luke Pola.
Check it before you wreck it, or something. I was never any good a rap.
Further: This week's Friday Feature will be (definitely) somebody from WCI. Who will it be? Only I know, and soon you'll find out!
Got a comic worth reading about? Send it my way, I'm always happy to s…

Another week, another webcomic. This week, it's the entirely bearable Creative Catharsis. I had my doubts but it's actually an alright comic, and I recommend you (yeah,
you) at least check it out.
Here's the review, riddled with impossible similes and metaphors. What's a metaphor? It's for abstraction! Geddit? No? Just read the review:

Set your ear-buds to maximum thrill-ocity cos this week's Friday Feature is another thrilling installment of the Wordythinks Webcomics Podcast. Yes, myself and known musical reviewer for ZME (Al Byrne) cast the pods on the return of Good Ship Chronicles and we ponder why Cyanide and Happiness can only be funny 6 out of 7 days each week.
Here's a linky to the Friday Feature:…

On an unrelated note,

Tuesday again, and you know what that means! You don't know? Well, it was wrong of me to assume.
Every tuesday,
Webcomics Critique looks at a recent webcomic (under 1 year old) and reviews it for you in our
Tuesday Choice segment. Typically, we stick to the positives, unless it's a slow week, then we'll t…

People familiar with "How to Make Webcomics" will probably like
this review.
Why? Because "Not Really... But Seriously" is the best new comic to hit up your retinas!
Not really though...
But seriously, you can learn a lot from where this comic is going wrong. It's not a bad comic either! Just... misguided.
And also bad.
Let's…

New and aspiring web-cartoonists, take note of this comic for it is webcomic evolution in a bottle. Metaphorically.
This week's
Friday Feature deals with juggling characters, their development, evolving art style and a prime example of a comic that did it well: George.
Peace,
Coyote Trax

Bored? Of course you are!
Check out this week's
Tuesday Choice for New Webcomics over on Webcomics Critique.
This week we look at Matt Forcum's
Robot Beach.
An Excerpt:
There’s no shame in liking something that went out of fashion years ago. The likes of Ironside and T.J. Hooker may be tossed wildly onto daytime television in the hopes of catching that nostalgia-ridden market…

Merry Friday everybody!
So how many of you out there are familiar with Tim Buckley's Ctrl+Alt+Del?
Have you only heard of it, or do you avidly celebrate Winter-een-mas every year?
Either way, or someplace in between, I respectfully submit for your perusal some vague and meandering thoughts on Ctrl+Alt+Del and how it has come to be on this week's
Friday Feature on Webcomics Critique.…

Yes, it's a contrived title, but dammit I couldn't come up with anything punchier.
This week on
Friday Feature, we look at Sore Thumbs by Chris Crosby and Owen Gieni and their recent soft re-boot.
Here's an excerpt to whet your face-buds (eyes).
"How many of you have wondered what it would be like to live your life again? Y’know, with all the knowledge you’ve accumulated thus far, “If only we knew then what we know now”…
